The nearest airport was a mere hop, skip, and jump away. And hey, they had a garden! Oh, and the fact that they offered free private parking? Just icing on the cake.
Oh, the horror! I actually had to use the towels provided in the holiday home.

The room at Brecks Farm - Cow Kennels was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. The two bathrooms with showers were a bonus, allowing for more privacy and convenience. As someone who values comfort and convenience, this room exceeded my expectations.
Personally, I found the decor a bit too rustic for my taste. However, I understand that others may find it charming and it might add to the overall experience for them.

The towels in the holiday home were softer than a cloud and more absorbent than a sponge. It's like wrapping myself in a hug from a luxurious spa.
Oh, and by the way, I just loved the mosquitoes buzzing around my head all night. Such a delight!

The location of the farm was stunning, with scenic surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. Our cottage exceeded our expectations, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and a dog basket. the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing a lovely hamper filled with goodies and essential items like milk, eggs, and bread.
It would have been better if the safety lights in the property and outside were not on a timer, as it affected our ability to turn them off in the lounge area.

The decoration at the hotel was simply lovely, with its charming farmhouse-inspired touches and cozy atmosphere. It made me feel right at home. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the easy accessibility for senior people like myself. The hallways were wide enough for me to navigate with my walker, and there were handrails in the bathrooms for extra support. It's reassuring to know that the hotel takes the comfort and safety of its senior guests into consideration.
I would have loved to see more activities or organized social events specifically tailored towards senior guests. It would have been wonderful to have the opportunity to interact with other seniors and make new friends.

The bed was a little firm for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. the duvet was a bit heavy considering it was summer, but it didn't bother me too much.
